January - playing catch up

Our lives in January started off with a bang. We celebrated the New Year with party poppers, streamers, blowers, bubbles and of course kisses! Darren, myself and the girls celebrated N.Y. style watching the ball drop at 9:00 pm our time. The boys held down the fort until midnight and then they partied and cheered and of course locked up and went to bed. The holidays in general were awesome! We had such a quiet relaxing break - it was heaven.

The boys had an exciting snow camping trip with the scouts. From snowball fights, building snow caves and of course sledding they had a blast! The traditional stop at In & Out on the ride home was a highlight and completed a fabulous trip.

Then a few days later we were all off to the most magical place on earth DISNEYLAND. It doesn't matter how old you are, that truly is a magical place. Below are some highlights...

Abby getting all decked out to see the princesses
The Disney*Pixar Parade at California Adventures

Sophie loved the lights, colors, bubbles , music & all the characters in the parade
The boys had a blast on their own riding the rides between both parks. They did join us for a few rides and an incredible lunch at Club 33. As a family we all had a very magical day.

Wow, looks like you guys had a great January! Your January makes our January look dumb and boring! In fact we really didn't do anything that great at all! Okay, I guess we went snowboarding a couple times, but that's it! Your pictures of Disneyland makes me want to go there, I haven't been for a long time!

Oh my land. Abby's hair is soo long and princessy. I wish that your Feb or March involved something about hanging out at Dave and Marnae's. So glad I at least get a glimpse of your life through this blog. Even though it makes me jealous.
