June & July Memories 2010

Happy Birthday Cody
Can't believe our oldest turned 16th this year! Cody is awesome ! He doesn't say much but when he speaks he cracks us up. He's athletic, funny, handsome, a wonderful older brother and a great example to others. He is a huge blessing to our family.
Cody we love you!
4th of July
It was like a war zone around here for a week! Fireworks going off left and right. Cody had a blast lighting the fireworks along with his dad & uncles. All the neighbors came out and we had a great neighborhood firework show. It was a fabulous day with the Saunders & Kober cousins. Grandma Helm flew in and enjoyed celebrating with all her grand kids.
God Bless the USA!!!
Mt. St. Helens
Camping with the Bakes is always an adventure. From our day trip visiting Mt. St. Helens to our water hole we found along the river. We all had a blast and made memories to last a lifetime! The kids were creative and had fun building fairy huts, exploring together, playing games and sitting around the campfire together. This is a new tradition that we've decided to celebrate each summer. The Northwest is a beautiful area and the weather was perfect! Splashing and floating down the river was a highlight. It was sad to say goodbye but we are looking forward to getting together again soon. Thank you Jeff & Tami and Dave & Marnae for a fantastic camping experience. We love you guys and miss you!

Drum roll please....... Yes, that is our cute girlie daughter Abby playing T-ball. She was wishing her team might be pink or yellow and they could be named the "Caterpillars". That didn't happen... instead they were green and called the "Tigers". After her 1st practice Abby left in tears and didn't want to play. After the 2nd practice we left early due to an accident. (She didn't know they had restrooms) So when it was time for her 1st game Darren and I were a little nervous. Darren helped the coach along with a few other dads that day and Abby was thrilled. Now that her 1st T-ball experience has ended she said she liked playing and might do it again someday...maybe!? Yippee! We are so proud of you Abby & we Love you!!!
