I haven't done a great job in updating my blog and I apologize. I've justified not keeping a journal because my goal has been to document and share family memories on our blog and then print as a book each year. Well, as you can see I've fallen behind and I'm feeling really guilty. The past month has been a whirlwind! Grandma & Grandpa Helm came to visit for a month. We also drove to Idaho again to visit Grandma & Grandpa Bake and meet Kimberly's new husband... Uncle Ryan. Such a fun & cute couple! Visited with more family...Aunts, Uncles, & more Cousins, it's been fabulous!!!! I have to take baby steps with catching up on my blog. So today's post is just a few highlights of each child this past week.
Darren and Cody spent last Saturday fishing at Sul Doc River. We were all looking forward to fresh salmon that night for dinner, but no luck. The fish weren't biting I was told :)
However, they had a great time together and are looking forward to many more fishing trips.

Caleb is playing baseball for the Phillies this season. It's been an interesting season so far. He was so blessed with excellent coaching the past few years in both football & baseball. This season has brought some frustration to the parents but the kids are all having fun and that's what really matters! Rain or shine we play ball here in Washington. I've learned to always carry my umbrella because you just never know :)
These girls are spoiled & they know it! So much fun watching Grandma Helm spend an afternoon at a nail salon with all these cute granddaughters. I was a little scared watching how comfortable Abby was as she got a mani/pedi along with her two cousins Ellie & Katie. Sophie tagged along & got polish on her cute little fingers & toes. She thought she was hot stuff too. We all enjoyed grandma's visit this past month and was sad to say goodbye. Grandma reminded us it's not goodbye... it's see ya later! I'm sure she'll be flying back for a visit again real soon.

Cute, cute! I was looking at these pictures with Kyser and he wants to play with Abby! I think we're going to Idaho for Memorial Day. I know you guys were just there for Kim's reception but is there any way we can talk you into going again so we can hang out?? Miss you :)
I'm glad that Caleb was able to find a baseball team. Isn't baseball fun in the rain? I often pray for rain so the games will get cancelled but I'm thinking that a little sunshine might be a nice change. I'll stop praying.
Wow, you guys have had quite the adventures the last few months! I'm sad we couldn't be in Parma the times you were there, it would have been so nice to see you guys! I hope you are all doing well!
