We were all getting ready to go and join Grandma & Grandpa Helm for dinner when I found Sophie eating off the floor. I guess she couldn't wait any longer and found herself a yummy bag full of cheezits. I thought she looked so cute I had to film it.
We met my parents along with a few other relatives who were in San Diego for a reunion last weekend for dinner on the Harbor. Below is my only brave child who was willing to give the "silver man" a dollar bill. Sophie has no fear! The last picture sums up the evening on Darren's face. He was so patient waiting with the kids outside... I love his smiley face :)

Sounds like a tiring but fun evening at dinner with the fam. Glad you got to go, but totally relate to the "leaving the kids at home" thing...lol.

It looks like you guys had a long day. I enjoyed the pictures. I didn't know Dad was sporting a goatee these days. Darren looked pretty wiped out and the kids looked like they could keep going, isn't that how it usually is? Looks like you enjoyed a nice sunset to end your day.
