Middle School here we come...

Caleb ~ 6TH Grade Promotion
The highlight of today's promotion that the kids will always remember...
While lined up waiting for things to begin, all the 6th grade classes witnessed this poor delivery truck driver run right over the fire hydrant.
Lots of cheering and laughter

A quick glance from Caleb as he walked past with his diploma

He started this school year off as the new kid. Caleb was entering 6th grade, but this was also his 6th new school. To many of us this would have been a devastating experience. Caleb has been blessed with a special gift of making friends. He started his Elementary school experience in Kansas City, Mo. As a cute quiet little Kindergartner that will always remember falling asleep in the classroom loft. He awoke to find his classmates all off at the Library. 1ST Grade was a special year while we transitioned back to California from the Midwest. He attended my old Elementary School and his teacher was a friend that I graduated High School with. We moved to the Inland Empire so for the next two years he continued to make fantastic friends, he performed in class plays and he continued to impress us with his math and writing abilities. We finally moved to Yucaipa where Caleb found his best buddy Thomas. Unfortunately, we moved in the middle of the school year to San Diego. However Caleb met his old friends while on a field trip months later. Since living here he has attended 3 schools which all contribute to his popularity. Where ever we go I always here, "Hey Bake". This is Caleb's day today and as his parents we are so proud of him and his example to others. He has confidence in himself. He knows who he is and where he is headed in life. It's so rewarding to watch him grow and we are looking forward to the many fun and exciting years ahead. Caleb we love you and are so proud of you!
