I have good memories while living with my Grandpa Barker many years ago filling up his water barrels. Together we boiled pot after pot of water till those barrels were full. I'm so grateful for his example and testimony in being prepared. (Hint - the hose water plus special solution is much easier then boiling 110 gallons of water by hand - But the memories are PRICELESS)

You rock Julie! That has been on my mind forever. I so need to get this done! You are such a great example. We have been told for so long to "be prepared" and now is the time like no other to just do it. Good for you. That's awesome. Can't wait to have our visit! I'm going to watch the weather forecast and give you a ring next week! :o) It was so good to catch up on the phone the other day. Thanks so much for calling me. It meant a lot to me.
