Caleb's Crazy Week

Caleb had one busy week! It started off unpacking and setting up his new bedroom. Then he worked on a science project since we finally had the computer up and running. Finished that by midnight (First clue... he was gonna be a bear) The next evening was open house at school. He was able to show off and be in the family spot light. Caleb enjoys school and is an "A" student. His teachers always enjoy having him in their classes. Thursday, the 5Th graders had an overnight field trip on the Star of India. A ship built in the 1874 and they were able to live the life of a sailor. His duty was in the galley where he helped cook & clean. The girls and I picked him up the next morning and he was so excited to share with us that he stayed up all night. (Second clue... he was gonna be a bear) Saturday morning came early with a phone call from Caleb's baseball coach asking "where are you ?" Yes, we messed up on the time and the rat race began. Caleb never likes to be late anywhere! (Third and finally clue... he was gonna be a bear) He was dressed and ready to go except couldn't find his baseball cup. Finally the bear came out and was going strong. Lots of tears, yelling, frustration and of course lack of sleep. He finally found it and was on his way - yippee. After 1 mile into their journey to the baseball Field, Caleb realizes he doesn't have his cleats. Wow, what a morning all before 8:30! Unfortunately, the team lost but Caleb had some great plays and a nice hit out in the field. Way to go Caleb we are so proud of you! Go get some rest, I love you. Love, Mom

His Science Project "Water & Waste"
We waste about 2 gallons of water when we brush our teeth &
leave the water running for about 2 minutes

Caleb loved doing service & cleaning the church building on Saturday
This was the conclusion to one exhausting week.

Hey Julie,

I didn't know that you had a blog until I started poking around. I'll be checking for updates. How fun to see all the pictures of your family and find out what is going on in your life. I like Caleb's Science Fair project idea. We are always looking for new ideas and might have to steal it next year. Thank heavens that is a year away. Sounds like your life is crazy fun.
